A dOCUMENTARY SERIES EXPLORING THE LIFECYCLE OF EVERYDAY THINGS

useful stories for curious people

Waste warriors, garbage geeks, reuse artists and designers. Sacred Scraps is a cross-media documentary series of short stories - where we meet the people behind the stuff, discover where all our stuff goes, and how it can be reused. You can help us to fund our stories. Visit sacredscraps.com for more information. Or join our mailing list for updates. Featured in this teaser are: Resource Recovery Australia, Great Lakes, NSW | JR Richards, Tuncurry, NSW | Resource Work Cooperative, Sth Hobart, TAS | Renewable Recyclers, Wollongong, NSW | Tracey Deep, Found Object Artist, NSW.

Sacred Scraps is a cross-media project using mini movies, podcasts, interactive illustrations, maps, data visualisations and process pathways to tell stories online and in real spaces.

Our collection of stories will feature raw materials, starting with their creation or extraction, through the creative processes of design, making and manufacturing, to the end of their life and how resources can be recovered, re-visioned, reused or recycled.

You can help us build our story world and bring our stories to life through the Australian Cultural Fund, where all donations are 100% tax deductible.
